They do, because I would never afford it otherwise. I have an ensuite which is ludicrously expensive, and I did achieve a place on campus next year which was even more ludicrous, but I passed over in favour of halls of residence in the city; not nearly as nice, but in a good place and a LOT cheaper.

How's the uni search going? I've lost track - do you have all of your offers now? Off to London it is?

You're so lucky - mine have refused to. Not that I blame them, they can't really afford to! I'm so worried about London accomodation prices as it is, but I NEED ensuite. I weep at the thought of sharing hygiene facilites.

Um, not yet. Waiting to hear back from King's College London. If they don't offer me a place then I offically have NO Russell Group offers and I'll probably re-apply. Not that I'm putting down non-RG unis, I just think with some of the career prospects I have in mind it would be real useful.
