Mainly posting to show off an icon I fell in love with. Michael McIntyre; underrated, not particularly well-known, absolutely brilliant. He's easily the funniest live stand-up I've seen; I spent the entire evening in hysterics and can't wait until he tours again. Hurrah

I've been known to get out of bed in the middle of the night and go to my computer just so I can write down fic ideas before I forget them, and I've spent whole nights writing on the PC because I just don't want to stop.

Oh, absolutely. No concepts of unsocial hours or sleep, and a brain that throws out complete nonsense when you least expect it. I went on a creative writer's course last year, and we were all given red notebooks to work in; I looked back at mine recently, and found I'd just written the words MIME ARTIST WHORES in the middle of a page, hoping to expand on it. When an idea grabs you it just has to be archived somewhere, somewhen. I love it, but it's completely bonkers sometimes!

the far too much writing thing? Is my life. There is a reason I always have a notebook in my pocket.

And it's not because I always lose my voice and have "Dayrider please" scribbled on the front page for the bus driver.

Also: MIME ARTIST WHORES? Wow. I want to live in your brain. It sounds like an interesting place to be.
