Two things I've learned from this round of writerinadrawer; never trust your instincts, and semi-colons aren't always the friends they pretend to be.

I'm still not entirely happy with this story, but have posted it anyway, because...well. Other people seemed to be!

Is it me, or is livejournal being incredibly slow today? Or is my laptop slowly giving up the ghost? Probably the latter; it's a faithful friend (well, faithful to a point), but it's five years old now, and starts crying every time I exert it too much. Which is usually when more than three tabs are open. Hmph.
