An oddity

Jul 12, 2006 23:24

I've noticed that I tend to update my journal a lot whenever there's nothing going on in my life, and I tend to ignore it whenever there's a whole bunch of shit happening.

That seems to be backward.

Oh good, so you mean that your girlfriend of four months ISN'T pregnant with your child, because that would constitute something going on in your life. And since you are posting, that means that nothing is going on, unlike pregnancy, which is something. Right? RIGHT?

Who died and made you the smartest, most perfect person in the world? I'd really like to know. You're so fucking judgemental. It's starting to irritate me.

How do you know we weren't using condoms and other birth control? Were you there in the room too? Well, just so you know, we had stopped having sex unless it was foolproof just so I wouldn't. Apparently by then it was too late. Haven't you ever seen Friends or read a condom box? Geez, come off of it. It's really getting annoying.

Well, there's a hormonal woman involved here.

Note I responded with the King. Plus he left me an opening for a joke by claiming that trash bags are the only thing that can cover his dick, and that is a much cheaper contraceptive. There is also a jab in there about Werle buying a family value pack of condoms. I never watched Friends, but condom boxes do give good information.

And are you really hormonal or are you just hamming it up for the crowd?

Yes I'm hormonal. Logan can tell you that much. But see, you just happened to really piss me off. There's a time and a place for everything. After two people just find out that for the next 18 years they're gonna be Mommy and Daddy, the LAST thing they want to hear is what someone who wasn't in the situation thinks they SHOULD have done. And Logan tells me you're really nice, and when I met you you were. But seriously, I think Logan and I KNOW what went wrong, considering the whole positive pregnancy test thing. Thank you very much in advance for your non-judgmental-ness.

I never meant to come across as judgmental; you of all people of course know what went wrong. You got the idea that I was passing judgment when I said "no excuse" but that was more about the cheapness of trash bags than the pregnancy. The hormone question was legitimate because I didn't know when it actually started, so for all I knew in LJ you were just kind of playing it up and not really craving donuts just yet. And even though you both know something went wrong, it still stands to reason that I want to slap Tyler around a bit, even if he is handling what's going on very well, just because we're friends and he needs slapped around a bit now and again. I'm not alone in thinking this.

And you'll always be mommy and daddy, not just for 18 years.

True.

Of course, we could be like my asshole father and kick them out at 17 years.

And I AM craving donuts. And ramen.

mood swings start around week ten and are comparable to a girl being on her period.

Ha ha, yeah. According to my handy little book, you start getting bitchy around the time you find out 'cause things are going funny, you have NO FUCKING IDEA what's going on, you're always tired, and quite stressed. Then around 8 weeks you hit the motherlode: the change in hormones. The first couple months is just a tester for the months to come.

I'm going to be in Ocean City with Logan's family when the worst of it hits. God help us all.
