I like the dialogue, it feels much more natural than what a lot of people write. Lol, everyone used the word bitch so much that I was half expecting a twist at the end that they're all dogs in space or something. Dogs in space... playing poker!

That's a comment I get a lot- natural dialogue, I mean. It's always nice to hear, though! Even in middle school writing, I got that, now that I think about it. It's the actions I'm not so great with. That's why I have trouble letting people read my stuff, normally- it feels to me like it doesn't flow right, because the dialogue is pretty good but the actions are kind of written at a lower level.

Maybe I should try using other words. But the thing is, they only use "Frak", "bitch" and "ass", and I dunno what else is "in fashion" in the future.

Do they use the words "mother fraker" or "poop head" in the future? That'd really spicen things up a bit :-) Ok, now I'm just being stupid.

So this is based off of some pre-existing characters or something? What Sci Fi show is it?

Battlestar Galactica. Starbuck (played by Katee Sackhoff) is in my icon, I don't have one of Racetrack (yet). The actress' name is Leah Cairns.

Whee! Lovely job. =)

Definitely want more. It flows very smoothly, and I knew bits of it were canon, but I couldn't tell which. *mwahs*

I think it took me longer to find the 'add comment' link than it did to read the story... God it's terrible when the mind goes.

It's too early to give an opinion on the storyline, but incorporating episode scenes and dialogue is a good way of placing the story in the bigger picture. Which is a good idea for BSG with all it's complicated plots and sub-plots. Nicely written, and good dialogue. There just needs to be more of it *w*

The comment link in this layout is terribly placed, but the layout is so pretty.

I'm glad you like it! The problem I'm having now is that I'm halfway through the storyline of Flight of the Phoenix. There's too much excitement in Pegasus for much action between the two of them, especially because Starbuck and Apollo get transferred to Pegasus. And I simply refuse to go past Pegasus because I have *no* idea where to go with that. I may have to go until I run out of timeline and then leave it hanging until January. Damn writers. I'll probably write other stories on a different timeline, though. Since I've stopped watching SVU, these ladies are my new obsession.
