A History of Tina and I

Aug 28, 2010 20:42

This is an extremely summarized version of the timeline of significant events in my relationship with Tina. Someone asked about it.

I probably missed a lot of things and will likely be editing this. It's not as bad as it makes things look. There are a lot of good times not shown, I'm only picking out the turning points.

Things I see as glaringly left out include:

-Our first date, eating at Taco Bell and seeing "Hackers" and chaparoned by your parents
-that youth fair trip where you threw coins at cops off the sky lift and my Dad was like, "Uh..."
-When I snuck you into my Nana and Pa's house, mostly because I had such tremendous fallout from that night and you got mega-threatened by my Dad, but also because it was awesome while it lasted
-all those roadtrips we took while I was pregnant with Ananda in the Beretta
-our friendship in Mayport
-Getting engaged
-Isaac
-Getting married
-Jake
-Elise

There are lots of other things from the past few years that I'd include, like our weekend away alone and standing by the window watching snow fall in Boston that night...but I understand the Happily Ever After part...I'd just think that at least engaged, married and the next 3 kids should be on it.

Also, I think that someone on the outside looking in would think that our mothers leaving was huge shit that influenced us in all kinds of way, large and small, and impacted the course of our relationship in various ways...

Maybe I will include some of those earlier things. I was mainly trying to fill the gap from when we began to when your journal begins.
