A History of Tina and I
This is an extremely summarized version of the timeline of significant events in my relationship with Tina. Someone asked about it.
I probably missed a lot of things and will likely be editing this. It's not as bad as it makes things look. There are a lot of good times not shown, I'm only picking out the turning points.
1994 (12-13 years old)
Tina and I meet through a mutual friend.
I am super shy, she is intrigued with "cracking my shell".
1995 (13-14)
I ask Tina out, she says "Sure, but you have to get a life."
Shortly thereafter, I fell in love.
Tina was bored.
She broke up with me and had a new boyfriend (Glen Altman).
I was crushed, but kept coming around.
1996 (14-15)
We are back together, it's all good.
Sexy time.
1997 (15-16)
We started going to church, Tina found God.
Me, not so much, but I'm working on it.
We're going on late night road trips, having lot's of love.
1998 (16-17)
I drop out of high school.
Our relationship is strained.
I am kind of an asshole.
1999 (17-18)
Tina breaks up with me at church camp.
She gets together with Bobby who was in youth group with us and she gets pregnant.
My life is over. I truly accept Jesus as my savior. He kept me from suicide.
Bobby has trouble with his family and moves in with me. (seriously)
2000 (18-19)
I obsess about a different girl (Carolina), but she doesn't feel the same way.
Bobby freaks out about the baby issue.
Tina feels he is not as strong as she thought.
We get back together. I support her through her pregnancy.
Ananda is born. I am a daddy. My life changes.
A few months in, Tina realizes she is still in-love with Bobby.
Without any biological claim to Annie, I try to stay out of the way.
2001 (19-20)
Tina and Bobby are getting along.
Aaron is born.
I move to Jacksonville and live with Tina's mom. (seriously)
South FL job market is slow, Tina & co. move to Jacksonville.
I move back to Homestead.
Tina summons me back up there because the stepdad is acting like a psycho.
We notice marks on Aaron.
Bobby is kicked out.
Tina and I are friends, I help her move into a new place (the brick house).
Back in Homestead, I have a few girlfriends but it doesn't work out.
2002 (20-21)
Tina gives Bobby another chance after he gets some counseling
I realize I am still in-love with Tina and send "The Letter"
More marks on Aaron, Bobby is permanently kicked out.
I am baby-sitter while Tina works.
I get a job in Homestead, offer Tina a place to live (as a friend)
We move back to my Dad's house.
We try to remain friends.
2003 (21-22)
We are in love and we've never looked back.
