Still no computer...

I'm at work and it's so dragging.

I went to the Doc's today to get the results of the thyroid test and to get my NEW prescription for my BP (damn you family history of high blood pressure!) and to get a recommendation for a dermatologist.  I love my doctor.  Well, for the first time ever he was backed up, so my 2:30 appt turned into 3ish and he ( Read more... )

No, seriously, you have to. You're one of the good guys and we want you around for a long time.

*feels your frustration*I find it impossible to get an accurate diagnosis for anything when visiting good old doc. Maybe you can do some online research yourself?

And you guys work at the police department? Kudos to you for speaking up about doing the right thing, even if it falls on deaf ears. It’s sad, the state of people.

I've really given up on finding out about the hair thing. It's falling out? Fine! I don't need you anyway! (I say that now, of course, but I still get borderline teary when I pull the clumps off the brush. Stupid hair)

The whole conversation was in-sane! I get so tired of being the voice of reason sometimes, especially when everyone gives me the "oh, Neis is being so goody-goody and naive" look that I periodically get. Don't come to me if you want justification or validation for wrong behavior, you're never gonna get it.

Um. Wow. The stupidity and ethical ambiguity of some people. If the situation had been switched around she'd be having a fit!

Exactly! Lady, you HIT his car. At the very least if you didn't want to wake anyone in the house up at 6:20 in the morning then leave a note. But NO, he's the jerk that's out to get her!

Wow, that car story... it's just totally... you know, most humans are like this. I do hope she confesses, or (here's me taking on preacher voice, raising a finger) the Bible says she might just burn in hell for a couple of eternities.
No really, that poor guy and his demolished car!

The thing that pissed me off was how they were demonizing him, as if HE'S the one doing something wrong and victimizing HER! She hit his freakin' car! What is wrong with people?

>What is wrong with people?
They're generally hedonisitc and egotistical. The twisted logic here is: HE parked his car in front of HER driveway without telling her, SHE made a mistake and now HE will come after HER and surely ruin HER life by making HER pay up for the damage. When it was HIS fault all along! He NEVER parks that car in front of her driveway, he broke with an unwritten law. See?

*sighs* back to work for me it is now--real life work. At the comic shop... hooray. Have a nice day, though! (the day just started in Germany, it's past 8 a.m.)
