I loved your description of the TARDIS It opened up, the very trunk of the tree sliding away to reveal a shadowy interior, and when he stepped inside, he was in a world he knew. The ivory towers had trees like this one, though none of the corridors within echoed with hints of a lover's laughter. The tree was no tree at all. It was a ship.
I think you should volunteer to write the much rumored 'start from scratch' Doctor Who movie. Really.
