and the stars will guide you home Doctor/Rose, R It surprises her, sometimes, how young she is. She stares at her hands and thinks: Twenty-three. I am twenty-three. (924 words)
This is gorgeous and real and it hurts and oh, Rose. I love every interaction here with everyone, especially the one with Tony. And God, every time she finds the Doctor.
I love the detachment. Looking at her hands, a mantra of her age. I love the abrupt breaks in each moment, harsh just like her landings. I love that she lies to Tony, even when its the truth. I love that she likes Eleven's bowtie. I love that you show Jackie break, just as a mother would, even while Rose refuses to. It twists my heart that she said she knew the Doctor loved her in past tense when she meets Ten. I love that when she meets him, he already loves her, and knows he's a silly git who didn't say it.
This is starting to feel like I'm writing wedding vows. That's cool, I think I'd marry this fic. Its simply made of friggin awesome.
