the pathos of forgiveness, Ten/Rose & Eleven/Rose, PG

It is a relief to see the grand and impossible through the small and lonely; it makes everything easier and greater, makes him learn how it feels to be breathless., 973

This is beautiful, and the emotion of expressed so well...

This line in particular, I love:

( Somewhere in a corner lies an old leather jacket that smells of discovery and rebellion. Maybe one day she will find it. Maybe one day she will stop looking for it from the corner of her eyes. )

It kind of takes my breath away...like wind from a sail. Beautiful.

Well, since I am a hardcore Rose/Doctor shipper I thought it high time I slowly ease myself into non-Eleven fic and this was me trying to slip into Nine fic. OTL ;;

Awwwww, thank you so much for that. I was anxious posting this since I had taken such a long break from DWfic.

Wonderful story. Loved the line: "He is filling the empty spaces where she once stood with new companions and new blondes, but never on purpose and never with absolution." and the ending. Truly heart-wrenching story. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for reading!

I can't seem to avoid melancholy - I try and try and it pops up everywhere, but for once it did me good since it suited this fic.

OH YOU. <3

Y-you thought the ending was okay?
I don't do much dialogue, but... I was experimenting.

Did I think the ending was okay? Well, it kind of ripped my little shipper heart out and stomped all over it quite a bit...but it was in a totally amazing, spectacular and emotional way so that means the stomping was totally justified in my mind at least.

You did a fab job with the dialogue lovely. Don't worry yeah? xoxo

Also, icon twins! Yay!

I wondered if I should have lingered on Eleven's angst hearing her say that. Hearing Rose tell him that she's coming home and home is him and his TARDIS, only not.

But I decided to just repeat that line instead.

Baaaaw, I do so adore reading your comments. ; v ;

Awww, thanks. Endings I always struggle with because I could always keep going on and on but then again, I second doubt my decisions when to stop in a piece a lot too. orz ;;

Thank you so much for reading!

I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK. I HAVE MISSED YOU. (And I'm not just saying that. I've legitimately pondered your whereabouts many a time.)

Also, holy shit you just took my breath away. WHAT WAS ALL THAT NONSENSE ABOUT BEING RUSTY? WELL I THINK YOU'RE LIKE RUSTY IN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WAYS. (It's a pun; I make puns now. Puns are cool!)

I know you think you're rubbish at him, but I *love* the way you write Ten-- it's all reverence with him. Prayers and benediction. I love it.

"Told you we'd make it," he quips, merry and flushed with the adrenaline of triumph and simply being right.

Ten is also a self-loving dork, and you've captured that too ;)

He is filling the empty spaces where she once stood with new companions and new blondes, but never on purpose and never with absolution. Sometimes they are more magnificent than he expects and sometimes they are more fantastic, but they never light the same dark corners that Rose did.

HIUHGAIRUGHLARG.

And the ending. THE ENDING.

NEVER LEAVE US AGAIN.

I AM SO GLAD TO BE BACK! (And aww, you are so sweet. I missed you quite a bit too.)

ALSO OH MY. WHY ARE YOU SUCH A FLATTERER.

(Oh do you? Well puns /are/ cool, so I am quite delighted to see them.)

Liked that did you? *v* One of my favorite lines too - it just flowed from meeeee~

Ah, yes that ending.

I always wondered about those phones that he tinkered with. Could call anywhere anytime? TARDIS kindofsortof redirecting calls? This has been brewing for quite a while ever since.
