Daughter of Eve, Eleven/Rose (PG)
Rose could have never known that this very closet had once been the start of a wonderful story, but she should have expected it.   The unpredictable and impossible always seemed to accompany innocent looking boxes.   2, 078.

You said everything I was thinking! Susan! Rose! I love how everything was fixed here.

I tried to fix them as best as I could! What I adored about using Narnia was that... so much time could pass in Narnia, but when sent back, it was barely a second. I really wanted Eleven/Rose to have that time together, in the most wonderful and magical world I could think of.

Baaw, I am glad you liked it!

I was a bit afraid of writing Narnia, because... well, it's Narnia, but I couldn't leave poor Susan alone.

Oh, this is just... gorgeous.

She gaped at the flickering lamp post and endless treetops, instinctively reaching for a hand that was not there.

Oh, perfect!

So she walked with the Lion of Gold and Dawn, walked by his side as he spoke, and she felt the rumble of his words resonating in the marrow of her bones.
I love this sentence. Mostly because I love Aslan, and so far, I'm liking how you write him.

"You know him, don't you? The Doctor."
Oh, Rose. Here you are, with Aslan, and all you can think of is the Doctor. I love you! (that's so very her)

They had a lifetime (or three or four, depending on how you counted it, he was always quick to remind her) of happiness and joy there in Narnia, until the morning came that Rose did not draw breath anymore and the Doctor's hearts well and truly stopped from the loss.HE STAYED WITH HER!! HE STAYED WITH HER!! And this is such a beautiful passage (this and the one preceeding) and so sad too. You are good at writing these heatwrenchingly lovely and melancholy stories ( ... )

It's always the boxes! Police boxes, wardrobes, etc. There should be a public safety announcement.

Of course. Aslan is wonderful and amazing and awe inspiring, but for Rose, the Doctor is the Doctor and that... that just sort of eclipses her mind. Especially now, since this happens somewhat soon after Bad Wolf Bay.

BAWW yes! I was nervous about doing Narnia too, but... Narnia gave me the possibility to give them an entire life together while still returning them back to their respective timelines. <3

My heart is full and happy and complete. I am going to go hug myself all giddy-like now. (And I DO love me some Eleven/Rose)

I am glad! I was told I broke a fear hearts with the last piece I did, so I really wanted this to be, over all, more fluffy and happy and just warm feeling. All about finding ways home and making the impossible possible.

Huzzah! This fixes Susan's ending (my biggest problem with the Narnia series BY FAR) and it brings together the Doctor and Rose! Reading it made me thoroughly happy.

YES!

I too COULD NOT STAND SUSAN'S ENDING. Because I felt like... the way she was treated at the end was so heart breakingly sad. ; A ;

I'm glad you approve of my fix!
