At work, the anticipated hectic mayhem that this time of the year always promises.  People are behaving in a mostly civil manner to both me, my co-workers and fellow customers.  We've had a few upset customers, but fortunately no pugilistic expressions of frustration have occurred yet.  It was close a couple of times, though
