Well, it's been so long ...

Work continues as usual, nothing really exciting to report there.  Disillusioned and depressed (although not terribly surprised) to hear about Chapters' deliberate efforts to sink Duthie Books when they first came to town many a year ago.

At work, the anticipated hectic mayhem that this time of the year always promises.  People are behaving in a mostly civil manner to both me, my co-workers and fellow customers.  We've had a few upset customers, but fortunately no pugilistic expressions of frustration have occurred yet.  It was close a couple of times, though ( Read more... )
