Oh yes indeed, two nights of music, acrobatics, fire, tribal bellydance, and anything else that comes to mind. It's all in the embryonic phase of development/brainstorming at this point, but we are all eager for this to happen, and now's the time for us to find and book a venue if this is going to become a glorious reality. Stay tuned! :-)

Tesla coils are things of beauty! Don't be hating on Tesla coils. If you saw those glorious towers of awesome in action live, I have no doubt that you would swoon at the wonder of it! :-)

what the fucking fuck. every time i think i can't find that company more disgusting, they do something else totally shitty to prove me wrong. would like to email P. to tell him i'm thinking about him - is it okay to let him know that i heard from you?

Yeah, sure, I don't see why not. While it sucks to see him go, I guess it's a good thing that the company decided to let go of management peoples first, instead of immediately cutting the peons. (Apparently some of the managers at a few of the Chapters stores were let go as well.)

yes, well, rest assured the "peons" will be the last to go - we were too cheap. someone like paul has benefits, etc. of course, i'd be surprised if they cut as many people from the corporate management side of things....laying off staff makes a lot of since given how poorly the company is doing:

no plans to visit in the near future. maybe next summer? this summer feels like it's almost over, and i have zero desire to visit during the rainy season. keep hoping that something will come up for work that will require my presence in vancouver......
