So, what's the deal with the whole "Quit Facebook Day" thingie?  I admit that I'm probably being naïve here, and I understand that people have concerns about their privacy and sharing of information on Facebook (maybe people need to be reminded that it is called a 'social' networking site), but is it legit?  And is there a decent alternative to

They think the Internet is private because they don't know how the Internet works.

Yeah, I would think that this would be the responsibility of the users to figure that out. Or maybe they thought that anything they posted would stay within the group, just like it does in real life.
