Archimedes is dead!
Archimedes, my trusty 650MHz compac desktop, appears to be toast. Rather, its one and only hard drive had its boot sector corrupted, at the very least, and now it doesn't even get to grub in the boot process. Unless somehow I uninstalled grub, which would have been completely unintentional. Anyway, I do still have computers at my disposal;
