Non-Who viewers, bear with me, the season's almost over, and then I'll shut up. But ... we're not there yet.

Hey, so, in this week's episode of "noticing something that other people may very well have already noticed" --

Wait... so I wasn't hearing things? Caan really did say 'Dark Lord'? OMG... does that mean... The Valeyard?

Oh, he said it! I am hopeful, but trying not to expect anything. Although it would be neat if the several elements RTD introduced/re-introduced into his series run could be re-united for a bang-up finale.

Oh, awesome, I'm glad somebody else heard it and thought that. I'm trying not to speculate at all, because I'm always wrong.

The finale's loaded so much already I'm wondering how he pulls it off -- Bad Wolf, daleks, Davros, missing Earth, a missing Earth being part of giant space engine, regeneration, three-series crossover with quite a few characters, Donna's part in all this, some mystery key thingy, the Time War, and a Dark Lord in a pear tree?
