Still not on fire. Yay. Though, it's hot, and I'd like to open the windows, but I can't because of all the smoke. I'd seen pieces here and there but for some reason never wanted to watch. But the roommate kept telling me I ought to, and I kept not doing it. Then she was home for the finale so we watched and I thought "you know, that was kind of entertaining and maybe it would be better if I'd seen the rest of the series." And lo! When watched in order? It's fab and a whole lot of fun. Oh, Fi! Oh, Sam! Oh, Mom! I love it.

One could hope. Her character is definitely the most interesting thing about the show. I don't hate Jamie, and if they actually do something with her character, then it'd be really interesting to see the contrasts between her and Katee's character. It could be fun. Right now, though, I just want Katee to kill half of the cast.

That seems to be many people's feelings about Bionic Woman. There's nothing special about it, it completely lacks a coherent narrative focus (due, I assume, to the fact that there've been about eleventeen show-runners thus far), the actress playing the lead lacks charisma and pizzazz, none of the characters really have any depth (or, at this point, any appreciable back-story). But at the same time, it's eerily watchable, even though it's not something I look forward to. (In fact, I only watch eps online maybe during lunch or something.) I can only conclude NBC has slipped in subliminal messages or something, telling people to tune in unenthusiastically each week.
