Recent discoveries

Discovery #1: I am very talented at breaking things that shouldn't be breakable. Examples include old but very reliable grading machines, garbage disposals (without the aid of anything that should have been dangerous), and solid metal hardware. Also, drywall. On the plus side, the bookcase looks mostly intact and is staying upright anyway.

Well, it could have been Will or Santana, going by lyric assignments. I would support either one. I'm still trying to figure out who was Jimmy, though, because they'd be sleeping with Kurt and/or Finn.

I need to watch Dreamgirls. (I know. I'm bad.) Especially because when you said Effie, my first thought was Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games.

I don't think they're going to go anywhere with the sick thing, though. I think that was just convenient for this week's plot and the It's All Over setup.

Yeah, even with Mercedes' fondness for bright colors, I can't see her trying to work the pink wig, tbh. ♥

I think you're right. It seemed less like a setup for an ongoing plot and more like they were trying to shoehorn things in to make the scene work as well as possible - I'm not complaining too much, because the result was a moment that had Broadway, period costumes, and glitter, but there was some weirdness going on with the characterization.
