Yeah, it seems like things have been going up pretty fast lately, and it sounds like you've been busy. Congratulations on the Saints so far, though!

Well of COURSE not every story is about the sun god, silly. Only EARLY stories / folklore.

Most modern stories (within the last thoursand years or so) written by writers of European descent are clearly about Jesus / a Jesus-like character / crucifiction imagery or the all-time stand-by, the phallus.

Duh.

(Me? Somewhat jaded English lit major? NEVER.)

Ah, yes, but some people maintain that you can trace the character of Jesus back to the solar mythos, as well, so everything really is about the sun god!

(I thought I got away from it when I finished my english and folklore classes. Apparently not - I am now coming across this stuff in geology texts.)
