I believe in you. You have very valid fears, but you are also a very competent person. One large problem in three months and you'll only have three weeks to deal with. I think you can do it.

This is probably a lot different than your situation...but I will tell you anyway. I went through the same thing with my job. Am I cut out for this? Is this what I want to do with my life? Will I mess up these kids forever? The funny thing is I found out that I knew more than I thought. I think you will be great. Keep a positive mind and ask A LOT of questions...you know more than you think you do :)

That's not very different from my situation. I'm glad to hear that it's working out for you. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Even though these guys have been doing this for a long time doesnt mean they didnt start somewhere, in fact they started right where you are now. They did it any many people have done it before you.

The main thing you need to look at is if you'll be jeopardising patients, and it really doesn't sound like thats the case, and I know you enough to say you'd never do that. You'll make the right decision.

Good luck with everything!, I need to get up there soon, I'm missing y'all.

Yes, you need to get up here soon. It's been way to long since we hung out.

You're right, they also had to learn. I'll have to go through the same learning experiences that they did.

I'm sure it'll all work out in the end. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

The doctors are undoubtedly watching and would never risk a patient and have you there on your own if they didn't have confidence that you could do it. Most of the time we don't know until faced with a crisis, then we simply handle it. I know you, and you have a cool head in the crunch, and afterwards, you can get weak knees or throw up or whatever you need to do, but if something unexpected happens, I'm sure you'll do just fine. Besides, you're my girl. ;-)
