I thought of Peter for this prompt too..but a little differently. This is cool. I love how you caputured Peter and Nathan's entire relationsyhip in a few short paragraphs. That's a testament to your writing skill!! Awesome!!

Guhhh, I've always loved Peter, and this made me love him just a little bit more. Perfect characterization. <3 This line right here:

I try to hate, I really do, but it's exhausting to maintain and eventually it comes around to accepting what they've done. I can't not care.

reminds me so much of that scene with Angela and Peter in the chapel in Volume Four, and Angela tells him, "You have every right to hate me," and Peter reassures her that he doesn't. He should, she's been manipulating him since S1, but he doesn't.

This story really captured that aspect of him, I think. <3 I really, truly loved it. And the ending scene between him and Nathan and him taking his hand without a second thought... very poignant. Just guh.

Thank you! I had a quiet think before I started writing to try to get a feel for Peter. I'm happy to hear my portrayal is believable. ^_^

Yus! He's the white sheep in the Petrelli family; all forgiveness and love. I could see how he'd annoy the hell out of Arthur.

I liked this like... wow.

Such a pity it was so short.

It sounds like a quick overview to how the Petrelli brothers are doing, with the emotion being there yet kind of refusing come to surface - and then suddenly it's dark and full of "angst" only Peter can offer to us! (desire to help, so pure and clear yet twisted and dark because he knows a lot of blood and pain will be involved)

Unfortunately I was working with a 500 word limit. There is a longer Petrelli story in me but it has to wait until I have time to address it. (And it will involve Gabriel as a Petrelli because that's a concept I think they should have stuck with! Epic family dramaz!)

I SO love the idea of Peter doing good things but who he is, the lengths he's willing to go through, the damage he's willing to do, is still pure Petrelli. They're not a family of sheep, they're a family of sharks, and even a white shark can still do a lot of damage. =D
