Thank you! I had a quiet think before I started writing to try to get a feel for Peter. I'm happy to hear my portrayal is believable. ^_^

Yus! He's the white sheep in the Petrelli family; all forgiveness and love. I could see how he'd annoy the hell out of Arthur.

I wanted to explore (in a limited fashion) WHY Peter doesn't seem totally freaked out in canon (yet) about Nathan being Sylar.

It doesn't matter so much to him at the moment because here is someone who looks, acts and speaks like his brother. Nathan!Sylar is in pain and Peter can't help but reach out regardless of the truth.

I also wanted him to grab the cell regeneration because, despite what the writers may think, I can't see Peter as STUPID so much as caught up sometimes; being an empath I'd imagine he's often overwhelmed in intense situations. Plus, well, 'take my power' to Sylar usually implies 'cut my skull open'.
