The Marina Alphabetacy: Transformed - Chapter 4 - (Part Two)
Soon it was time for Amelia to transition into a child.
To the relief of her parents, Amelia grew out of her silence and she began to talk now that she was a child, although she was very independent and preferred to play on her own rather than with everyone else.
The only person she was confident playing with was Albus. The two used to play together a lot of the time and had built a strong bond together.
“Ahh!” Albus screamed as Amelia hit him with the pillow.
Amelia giggled as her pillow swiped Albus around the head. As she stopped hitting Albus to let him recover, he quickly swung his pillow round.
The pillow hit Amelia in the head and she was shocked for a moment before bursting into fits of laughter.
After a few minutes of playing this, the two settled down and began to talk to each other.
“What’s it like Al?” Amelia asked, quietly.
“What’s what like Melia?” Albus replied.
“School”
“Oh, it’s okay. It’s a bit boring, but sometimes it can be fun”
“Is everyone nice there?”
“What’s with all the questions?” Albus replied, laughing.
“I’m just a bit nervous for tomorrow, that’s all”
“Don’t be nervous at all! You’ll be fine Melia!”
Feeling a little reassured, Amelia went to the play table and began to construct a tower.
She liked doing this and she loved to read about how things worked too, sometimes she and Albus read together in their room.

The next day at school, Amelia climbed up the steps to the climbing frame. Once at the top, she looked over and saw all the other children playing below her. She hoped that none of them would come up here and join her.
“Hi!” a boy said from behind Amelia. “My names Olly, what’s yours?”
Amelia froze. She didn’t know what to do. She had feared that if anyone spoke to her whilst she was here, she wouldn’t know what to do and now that it had happened she was scared.
Amelia turned to face the boy and smiled before grabbing hold of the pole in front of her and sliding down it.
As Amelia ran towards the monkey bars, she could feel herself going red. She quickly grabbed hold of the first bar and began to swing, hoping to forget what had just happened.

Annie sat in the play tower in the back garden of her house, wanting to get some fresh air for once. She thought back to today when the girls cornered her and Beth, when Beth told them that the needed to leave her alone and when they got her in the toilets later in the day, they pulled her hair harder than the normally did.
Annie’s thoughts were disrupted by Adrianna’s calls.
“Annie! You’re dinners ready” Adrianna shouted out to Annie.
“I don’t fancy any right now, I’ll come in and have some later” Annie called back.
“Okay”
Adrianna stood at the bottom of the tower for a while, contemplating whether she should try to confront her daughter, but after the reaction she received last time, she decided against it.

“JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!” Annie screamed as the girls confronted her in the grounds. “I DON’T SEE WHAT YOU’RE PROBLEM IS!”
Janis glared at Annie. People were beginning to look at them now and Janis’ reputation was bound to be affected. Annie had caused people to dislike her.
Janis shoved Annie and watched as Annie tripped over her own feet and fell to the ground with a thump. The people in the surrounding area began to laugh.
Anna, the girl standing next to Janis, burst into squeals of laughter. Janis smirked and muttered “Loser” before walking off.

That’s it for Chapter 4! I know it’s quite small but its all preparation for Chapter 5, which will be huge. Chapter 5 is split into 3 (A, B and C). All of these parts are shot, as is Chapter 6. The kids are now all in college and Annie is close to graduation! I’m enjoying playing so much!
I’m probably go to start writing Chapter 5a soon as I don’t want to play too much more, with 4 chapters ready to be written, but no promises.
I’m also going to aim and try and get a Christmas themed chapter out before Christmas!
