Hello and welcome to Chapter 4 of the Marina Alphabetacy! Sorry it's taken so long to release this! I've been having a LOT of fun playing ahead, especially in college! Although, I should have Chapter 5a released soonish, I hope!
Last Time: The family moved to a new home and two new babies were born. Albus was first and then Amelia. Annie encountered some bullies from her school and was terrorised by them. After growing into a teen, Annie was still being bullied by these girls and she began to distance herself from her famil.

Adrianna was glad to have Artemis’ help when raising the toddlers. Although there were two of them, it was still a struggle.
She did her best to try and teach Albus to walk, but she was strained with work. Adrianna found herself extremely tired lately due to work and raising Albus and Amelia.
Amelia grew into a sweet little toddler. She played cheerfully with Albus, although Artemis and Adrianna noticed she was a very quiet child. She wasn’t like Annie or Albus and she had not made one sound since she grew into a toddler.
Annie was working extremely hard at school, she was still being bothered by the girls, but she tried to put it behind her. She desperately wanted to go to college now and get away from all of the troubles here at home. She still spent most of her time in her room, burying her problems away.
“Amewia!” Albus exclaimed. “I think I’ve finished!”
Amelia looked up from her drawing and smiled at Albus.
“Can I see yours please, Mewia?”
Amelia nodded and held up her drawing to show Albus. Albus beamed at her.
“It’s really pwetty Amewia!”
Amelia smiled shyly and then went back to colouring in her drawing.

Adrianna was slightly relieved when Albus’ birthday arrived as it meant there was one less toddler to care for, but she would miss teaching him to talk and walk and use the potty.
Albus, on the other hand, loved being a child and didn’t miss being toddler at all. He enjoyed being able to do things himself and one of the things he loved to do was read.
Early the next morning, Artemis silently padded towards the kitchen. As she looked up, she jumped. Albus was sitting on the sofa in his pyjamas with a book in his hands.
“Albus?” she asked.
Albus looked up from his book suddenly and when he saw his mother standing there he smiled.
Artemis laughed and walked towards her song, after picking up a book for the bookshelf and sitting on the floor, Albus walked over and joined her. She began to read the story.
------
After a few days at school, Albus began to make some friends. One of his best friends, Sam, decided to come round after school and he and Albus began to play catch until Artemis shouted at them from playing in the road.
“Look Sam!” Albus exclaimed. “The planes are coming to get us!”
Sam ran to where Albus was and looked in shock. He pointed into the sky. “Quick, Albus! Evacuate” he shouted.
Both boys ran to the pole in the middle of the platform and slid down it. When they reached the bottom they ran around and threw themselves to the ground. After a few minutes of silence, the boys looked at each other and burst into fits of laughter.
Albus still played with Amelia regularly. He tried to teach her nursery rhymes, but Amelia still did not make any sound at all.

“What’s up?” Beth asked Annie as they sat on the sofa in his house.
“I... I just didn’t know who to talk to...” Annie replied.
“Are the girls still bothering you?”
“Yes” Annie responded. “I don’t know what I can do, they just won’t leave me alone Beth!”
“Well, have you told your parents about it, maybe they could tell the school and...”
“No!” Annie interrupted. “Then it’ll just get worse, I can’t tell my parents”
“But, Annie, It might make it all stop?” Beth insisted.
“Beth, I can’t tell them. I just can’t.”
After a moment of silence, Beth nodded. “Why don’t you just stay inside during lunch?”
“They still find me” Annie replied. “I was in the library last week and they came in and stole my book and then chased me out”.
“Well, I’ll have to make sure I’m with you all the time from now on!” Beth responded. “They won’t bother you as much if someone is with you”.
“Beth, you don’t have to do that. You don’t want to spend all time with me!”
“Of course I do Annie! You’re my best friend and I don’t want to see you get hurt”
There was silence for a moment as Annie felt the emotions well up inside her. She realised just how good Beth was as a friend.
“Thanks” she muttered, her voice cracking a little. “I’ve... got to go now, thanks Beth” Annie said as she stood up. Beth copied her and she pulled Beth into a hug.
