After returning inside the house, Adrianna walked to the phone and dialled the number that had been on her mind for a few days now. After a short conversation with the person on the other end of the line, Adrianna hung up and hurried to the bedroom to get changed.
Half an hour later and Artemis walked up towards the front door. She had received a phone call from Adrianna, who said that she wanted to talk to her. Artemis had hurried over, wanting to speak to Adrianna desperately.
“What do you want to talk about?” Artemis asked after sitting down at the sofa.
There was a pause of silence whilst Adrianna made up her mind about what she was going to do. After finally deciding that she didn’t want to live a lie, she began to explain.
“Artemis” she began. “The other night, when we kissed, I felt something that I’ve never felt with anyone before. I felt so happy and I felt a real connection with you”
The was a pause for a moment as Adrianna waiting in anticipation for Artemis to reply.
“You said you were straight?” she eventually replied.
“I lied.” Adrianna admitted. “I was confused, I’d never had feelings for another woman before and it was new to me, I didn’t want to admit it because it was different.” she explained.
Artemis beamed and she shuffled closer to Adrianna, who copied her movement and placed her arm around Artemis’s shoulder. She too beamed, glad to have finally admitted the truth and now she and Artemis could be together.
“I’ll see you later” Artemis said, pulling Adrianna into a hug.
The warm feeling returned to Adrianna and she beamed. “Yeah” she muttered, trying to keep hold of Artemis for longer.
“Wait” Adrianna called as Artemis began to leave. “I need to ask you something first”
“What is it?” Artemis asked, curiously.
“Well, I know we don’t know each other that well, but I feel a real connection with you Artemis and I think I'm falling for you” Artemis replied. “Will you be my girlfriend?” she asked, nervously.
Artemis grinned from ear to ear. “Yes!” she replied, excitedly.
For the next few days, Adrianna and Artemis began to go on dates to each others houses …
and as each date went on, the two found themselves getting closer …
and closer.
------
Laying on the path outside of Adrianna’s house, Artemis and Adrianna cuddling, whilst quietly talking to each other.
“Art, I know this is a big step and I totally understand if you don’t want to but I’ve been having the time of my life with you this past week and I don’t want this to end …” Adrianna said.
“What are you going on about Ade?” Artemis asked, smiling.
“Do you want to move in with me?” Adrianna asked.
“What?” Artemis replied, standing up
Adrianna quickly stood up too. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have asked, I knew it was a bad idea”
“Are you serious?” Artemis asked.
“I’m so, so sorry Art, I thought it’d be a good idea and I was wrong!” Adrianna pleaded.
“I’d love to move in with you” Adrianna replied, smiling at her girlfriend.
------
Artemis was a painter, and with the money she brought in with her, they were able to build a hobby room for themselves.
Adrianna began to take up singing, enjoying it thoroughly. She hoped that with enough practise, she’d be able to perform in some local bars and restaurants to earn a bit of extra money for them both.
Artemis had been slowly climbing up the career ladder and was now a Jazzercise Instructor. She was happy with her career choice and now that she had started singing, she hoped to incorporate her dancing into the singing as well.
------
Sitting in the garden of the Daily Grind Coffee Shop, Artemis and Adrianna were laughing and joking with each other and enjoying one another's company.
“Art, can I ask you something?” Adrianna asked, nervously.
After standing up, Adrianna pulled a box from her jeans. She opened it to reveal a ring sitting inside, she smiled as she said “Artemis Hollinter, will you marry me?”
Artemis flung herself at Adrianna.
“Yes!” she squealed. “Of course I will”
------
As the day of the big day drew closer, there were many things to be done; Wedding dresses were brought …
and invitations were given. The two girls didn’t want a huge ceremony and only invited their closest friends.
It wasn’t long before Artemis woke on the day of her wedding, nervous for the big day ahead of her.

I don't tell anyone about the way you hold my hand
I don't tell anyone about the things that we have planned
I won't tell anybody
Won't tell anybody
They want to push me down
They want to see you fall down
Won't tell anybody how you turn my world around
I won't tell anyone how your voice is my favourite sound
I won't tell anybody
Won't tell anybody
They want to see us fall
They want to see us fall
I don't need a parachute
Baby, if I've got you
Baby, if I've got you
I don't need a parachute
You're gonna catch me
You're gonna catch if I fall
Down, down, down
I don't need a parachute
Baby, if I've got you
Baby, if I've got you
I don't need a parachute
You're gonna catch me
You're gonna catch if I fall
Down, down, down
Don't believe the things you tell yourself so late night and
You are your own worst enemy
You'll never win the fight
Just hold on to me
I'll hold on to you
It's you and me up against the world
It's you and me....(Love)
I don't need a parachute
Baby, if I've got you
Baby, if I've got you
I don't need a parachute
You're gonna catch me
You're gonna catch if I fall
Down, down, down
I don't need a parachute
Baby, if I've got you
Baby, if I've got you
I don't need a parachute
You're gonna catch me
You're gonna catch if I fall
Down, down, down
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of,
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of,
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of,
I won't fall out of love
I'll fall into you
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of,
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of,
I won't fall out of love
I won't fall out of,
I won't fall out of love
I'll fall into you
I don't need a parachute
Baby, if I've got you
Baby, if I've got you
I don't need a parachute
You're gonna catch me
You're gonna catch if I fall
Down, down, down
I don't need a parachute
Baby, if I've got you
Baby, if I've got you
I don't need a parachute
You're gonna catch me
You're gonna catch if I fall
Down, down, down

“I can’t believe your pregnant!” Artemis said to Adrianna whilst they were sitting on the sofa a few days after the wedding.
“Me either!” Adrianna replied, excitedly.
“Are you sure it’s mine?” Artemis asked.
“Of course it is Art!” Adrianna replied, looking quite shocked at the accusation.
Artemis fell silent for a moment and Adrianna looked at her, still waiting for an answer.
“Art! I’ve only been to work and then home these past few days! I promise I haven’t cheated on you” she said,
“How do I know you’ve been going to work?” Artemis replied, winking slightly.
“Shut up!” Adrianna said, jumping on Artemis’ lap and hugging her tightly.
-----
A few afternoons later, Adrianna walked into the local park, looking for some fresh air. Artemis was busy painting and something had been bugging Adrianna and she needed some advice.
Adrianna found who she was looking for, but Heather seemed a bit too busy with Chip to be disturbed at the moment. She decided to walk to the other side of the park and take a seat.
On the other side of the park, Adrianna saw Drizzle and, who Adrianna assumed was her brother, playing. Heather had told Adrianna at the wedding that she had given birth to a boy named Beth, but he was too young to attend the wedding himself.
Once Adrianna saw Heather and Chip leave, she decided to take a walk to their house, needing to talk to Heather now more than ever.
“What’s the matter now Ade?” Heather asked, impatiently.
“I’m really worried” Adrianna admitted. “My last life didn’t go too well and I wasn’t the perfect mother that I thought I’d be, what if it’s the same with this child?” Adrianna asked, sounding worried.
“Calm down a minute” Heather replied, looking a bit agitated. “Look at me! I thought I’d be a bad mother when I fell pregnant, but I’ve done okay at it!” she explained. “You’ll get better, you just need to learn the basics and you’ll be fine”
Adrianna stood up and hugged Heather, “Thank you” she muttered in her ear.
“I better go” she said, straightening her back and walking towards the door.
“Yeah” Heather replied. “Me too! Chip’s waiting for me in the bedroom with some chocolate vodka, you can show yourself out right” she added, not waiting for an answer, just running towards the bedroom door and shutting it behind her.
Adrianna quickly walked out of the house before the sounds began.
Later that night, Adrianna couldn’t sleep. Her stomach pains were worse than normal and she knew the baby would be arriving any minute. Artemis had decided to stay up too and was painting in the hobby room.
After a few hours of waiting, Adrianna felt a huge pain sweep across her belly. She stood up slowly and clutched her stomach just as the second pain swept across her.
“ART!!!” she screamed as the pain increased.
After an hour of pain and hard work, Adrianna gave birth to a baby girl. As soon as she saw her baby, her worries melted away. She just wanted to protect this baby and keep her safe from all harm. She wanted to be the world and she would do anything to fulfil that want.
“Annie” she whispered after a few minutes of holding her.
------
Annie is a character from the TV show, 90210. Annie is a teenage girl who moves from the country to the big city of Beverly Hills. She has to adjust to life in the big city, as well as make friends. She ends up in a lot of bad situations, which causes a lot of people to dislike her, and she is left to be bullied and alone. She' has gone through a lot in the show and is still a strong character.
“Can you hold her for a minute” Adrianna said to Artemis as she placed Annie in her wife’s arms.
Artemis beamed down at her little girl, ecstatic that she had gained her green skin.
-----
The days flew by and soon Adrianna was back to work as a Interpretive Dance.
“Michelle! It’s getting late, your always welcome to stay here tonight if you’d like” Adrianna said to her co-worker.
“Are you sure, Ri?” Michelle replied.
“It’s not a problem” Adrianna said, smiling.
“Thank you!!”
From inside the bedroom, Artemis watched out the window as Adrianna and the woman embraced in a more than friendly way.
As Artemis got into bed, thoughts raced through her mind. Adrianna must be cheating on her, she thought.
As much as she tried to sleep that night, she couldn’t. In the early hours of the morning, she finally decided on what she was going to do.
She got out of her bed and walked to the wardrobe, trying to make no noise. She pulled out her bag and began to shove some clothes in, not looking at what was going in. After she had packed the bag full, she quickly got changed and tied up her hair.
She had made the decision to leave the house to give Adrianna and her new girlfriend space. Her new girlfriend was much prettier than her, Artemis thought, and she needed to let them carry on with their lives.
As she picked up Annie and gave her a kiss on the cheek, Artemis found it hard to put Annie back into her crib, but she knew it was for the best. Adrianna would look after her and Artemis would see her regularly.
As she walked out into the lounge, she saw the woman, asleep on the sofa in her underwear. Art tried hard not to cry as she walked past the woman and into the kitchen. She had to accept the fact that this woman was better for Adrianna that she was and that she needed to give them the space to continue their relationship.
As Art walked out of the house, the tears began to flow and Artemis wasn’t sure if they’d ever stop.
