I had a Sylar/Mohinder dream last night. WTF? The two of them were in this weird city that was under siege by mutant dinosaurs. Molly was there, hiding under a bench, and Mohinder was out in the street being 'lookout'. But he had powers - no clue what. Sylar kept like...trying to subtly slice his head open. Like he'd lift up his hand to do it

Ps. Mohinder I find the hottest man-thing on Heroes. Sylar, on the other hand? Cree-ee-py. And not in a good way. Although I suppose that's what the makers were going for.

I know what you mean, though. I wish people wouldn't judge so much about that. It doesn't help when RL friends are familiar with a fandom you're into because then I've got to be even more secretive. (Damn it, Heroes!)
I do end up feeling weird about being public with certain pairings, but I wish I didn't have to and I wish that I could be more cool about it like you are. Petrellicest, for instance. But yeah. Word. XD

I am so, so lucky in that my small group of RL friends were all met through fandom, and therefor I don't have to hide anything. Though we occasionally get weird looks. Like when I was walking through a parking lot with anna_daae and announced, perhaps a touch too loudly 'it's not even all the tentacle rape, it's that everybody's a hermaphrodite!'.
Aw, you shouldn't have to! I long for the day across the fandoms when we can proudly boast our pairing preferences without fear! (And dude...there are people out there who don't see Petrellicest?

I do have some RL friends that are just into fandom as I am, but then the ones who I met at college I have to be pretty careful with. I'm pretty sure I've had moments like that, too, though maybe not as bad. 8D
I should just be less of a pansy about it and stop caring, but... I'm weird. I ADMIT IT TO SOME PEOPLE, THOUGH. :D; (And yeah, I'm starting to wonder why I even tried to resist liking it.)

That sucks. I don't think I'd ever be able to be careful. Pretty much everybody knows what I'm into and that kind of stuff. Hell, I even talk to my Brother-In-Law about slash pairings. Oh man, I have no filter IRL. None whatsoever. I can only imagine what passerby who get snips of my conversations must think.
Nah, I understand. Fandom can be brutal. And over the weirdest damn thing, so....
