I started watching "welcome to my nightmare" but the a/v quality just drove me absolutely mad. But yes, BBC4 have been showing some excellent stuff recently. they had a really good Hendrix documentary on the other week. The documentary before Alice Cooper on the punishment faced by germans for anti-government jokes in WW2 was disturbing, mind.

Was far more fun watching 'Maiden in person yesterday, very strangely there was a girl there who looked so like you I almost grabbed her before I realised it wasn't. Apparently there will be a DVD.......

Haven't been to a gig for a couple years - usually by the time I find someone to go with they sell out. I was most annoyed about missing Alice Cooper last year.
Next time I notice some concert coming round I think I'll just buy a few tickets and worry about allocating them later. Although I ended up seeing Placebo by myself (Brixton Academy had one ticket left...) which was still fun.

There's a lot of people out there who look just like me apparently. About half are female.

Are you still coming to BU on Tuesday? I am supposed to pick up a DVD player and a hard drive for Ludy's computer. It will also be excellent to see you. I shall leave the talk of metal music to thekumquat though.
