I do love Grand Prixes in the rain, and this was the soggiest I've seen for a long time. New strategies have to be made up on the fly and you see the drivers testing a different set of skills. Excellent tussle between Raikkonen and Kovaleinen on the last lap.

And an excellent typically-English understated quote from the McLaren engineers.

Stomped down to station at 9am, cheered up somewhat by the nice postie sorting through his bags for me and then giving me the letter I was waiting for. Remembered that newspaper bloke isn't at the station on weekends and therefore I couldn't have any of his crap but cheap and caffeinated coffee. An excellent party was held by ajva, complete with races in the sunshine (less said about my performances the better, but conflux was a consistent second in all his races, leading to him being crowned champion of Windyridge - we now have a fantastic trophy cup for the mantelpiece!
