Went to the local comic shop.

My issues with his service as of late have become monumental. I have missed stuff that I should be getting pulled. Things I special order with him never come in.
I started taking note of it after the_anti_hero added Black Panther and Fantastic Four to our pull list (she totally digs Black Panther and Storm so as long as they are ( Read more... )

Your day suck too? At least you didn't get your heart ripped out and stepped on, only to be picked back up by the authorities to be questioned about comments the perpetrator made soon after smashing it.

Sorry to hear about that.

I have been there before. I think everyone has at one point.

I would offer to step on it's head for you, but I don't want to go to prison for assault.

Hi, Paul Karasik here, editor of the Fletcher Hanks book, "I Shall Destroy All the Civilized Planets".

Sorry to hear of you plight. We were completely caught off-guard by the reception of my book. It was the sleeper hit at San Diego, selling out by the morning of the 2nd day.The first edition sold-out within 3 weeks! It won't be long before the 2nd edition arrives from the printer and it will be worth the wait: there will be five subtle changes to the 2nd edition worth waiting for.

If you are unfamiliar with Hanks' work, I urge you to wander over to my website, go to the BONUS page and see the slideshow of a Fantomah story that does NOT appear in the book:

Thanks,
-Paul Karasik

Thanks Paul,

When I get around to finding a new comic shop, I will try to order a new printing.
Can't say that I am a "fan" of Hanks, but I familiar, having seen bits and pieces of work, thanks to RAW and the interweb. I was morbidly curious enough to order the collection.

I SHALL OBTAIN THIS BOOK! (sooner or later)

I hope you'll be getting your copy of the book you desire so much and tried so hard to procure.

Good luck!

What is it with yesterday? It seems everyone I talked to had a rough day.
Here's hoping you find a great vendor, and soon! I've had my share of some more than rotton ones too, just saying that by way of letting you know you aren't alone.
