I barely remembered this as a kid. But my son watches old G.I. Joe cartoons on G4's Action Blast show. Today's was a classic crazy Cobra plot to take over the world. remember that this cartoon originally aired in 1985!

Seems like Cobra Commander has kidnapped a brilliant geneticist.

Well, JP had the scientists combining dinosaur DNA with that of frogs, not ostriches.

JP1 was reasonably faithful to the book, despite Schpielburg totally making it into an amusement park ride. I went to see JP2 with a friend who read that book. 5 minutes after it started, he said "Well, they just totally threw the book out of the window." I think the book committed suicide before they had a chance to fuck it up further.

i just realized that jurassic park was speildbergs last fun-from-start-to-finish speilberg heyday movie.

isn't it weird that i vaguely remember this episode as well, but couldn't tell you shit about any other GI joe episode. i vaguely remember the movie too.

and near the end when they had nemesis enforcer and those other freaks.
