Pepa/Silvia Top 5 Picspam - #4 night before the wedding (w/ 3 random reasons to love Silvia)

Nov 27, 2009 13:10

There is no end to my spamming. No end in sight, or well there is sight, but...nevermind lets move on to #4 on my list. And if you've missed the previous ones;

Pepa/Silvia Top 5 Picspam - #5 "first" meeting
Pepa/Silvia Top 5 Picspam - the runnerups

-IT'S ELECTRIFYING.
This scene is the theoretical ideal of the previous one. Where that contained potential this is the follow-through, like how the invention of the wheel eventually landed us a man on the moon (if you believe that sorta thing). It's a raging fire of blazing chemistry barely contained by the celluloid canvas.

It gives me goosebumps listening to Silvia's contemplation concerning their relationship and the process of falling in love. Love isn't simple, love isn't strange, but love is. It's about letting go, it's about learning, it's about the beauty that at times is the human race. And their journey through and into love has been ahhh-some to follow.

As you watch the scene unfold you almost start to blush, because no matter how many times you've seen it, or how much you know it is only fiction, you still feel like an intruder. You feel worse than Don Lorenzo at the cabin and all they do is play with each other's fingers (and not in the R-rated way) while broadcasting their love and anticipation through dark, but deliciously expressive eyes. And no matter how much of a voyeur it makes you feel like, there is no way, no how, you could ever look away. Transfixed you watch their gentle interaction and feel how passion is barely contained, affection overflowing and love is shining brighter than the midday sun.

What's even more admirable and realistic is that love, passion and affection doesn't have to be serious all the time. Epic doesn't mean lack of humour, something made very clear as Silvia interrupts their slow dancing by insulting Pepa before childishly running away leaving the brunette cursing. There is a playfulness to them, a playfulness that is extremely rare to find in any other pairing, straight or gay.

It's the night before their wedding and in many ways the scene is pure fluff, but it is the most gorgeous and realistic fluff I've ever witnessed and that's why this places as #4 on my Top 5 list.

(Episode: 8x11/103 "¡Amor a bocajarro!")
