Thoughts and recaps on 2.10 'Raging Fae'

This episode was heavily focused on Bo, her past and present relationship with both Faes and humans alike. Some MMA scenes were thrown in, succubus-style of course, and Anna Silk really reminds me of Hillary Swank in her 'Million Dollar Baby' boxer outfit. I enjoyed having Anna as the main star in this week's episode and seeing how human Bo really ( Read more... )

I'm probably going to do my own reaction post over yonder here in a few, but just to respond to some of your points:

Yup that's pretty much what's been going on with Bo in both season one and two.
Right?? I was so flippin' happy somebody finally said it! In fact, assuming Bo's parents knew that their little adoptee was *special* in some way and instead of telling her this, chose to inoculate her with "sex is evil" messages, lies and secrets have defined Bo's entire life. I was so happy to see her get pissed, because she should be.

I swear I went into a fangirl mode when i heard the L-word but the part after really pisses me off.Idk if this is considered a wank or not, but I never considered even for a second that Lauren meant "I take it back, I don't actually love you." I assumed she was trying to take back the TIMING of the confession, not the meaning of it. She knows that she's been giving Bo mixed messages all over the place as a result of her confusion, and she knows that deepening their relationship is REALLY unfair when ( ... )

I like to think that if it has been a real, complete confession of love, Bo wouldn't have brushed it off... that it was a kindness she was showing Lauren by letting her drop it, when L obviously didn't mean to let it slip in the first place.

It's been on my mind if Lauren would even be all that conflicted if Bo had, at any point in their relationship, indicated a desire and willingness to be with Lauren unreservedly and with commitment (the way B once did with Dyson). I mean, L obviously still has feelings for Nadia, but I can't help feeling that a LOT of conflict comes mostly from Nadia being someone who is presumably stable, committed to Lauren, a sure thing, while Bo is a flighty Succubus who spends half her time mooning over someone else.

It'll never happen in the near-future of the show, but I'd be super-interested in if Lauren would REALLY be able to resist if Bo were like "I love you, I want to be with you and only you, screw all the complications." L's head would probably explode.
