High Cost of Living

Does this ring true for you guys?

Sorta rings true. We are saving like crazy people right now wanting to buy a house. I'm very glad I have the 50/30/20 in mind when figuring out what we can afford, which is much less than one might think we could afford based on our very decent combined income.

I definitely feel like this squeeze is limiting our ability to have a wedding on the time table we'd prefer.

I also feel like I used to be CF because I really didn't have any inkling to have children. Now I'm CF because I can't conceive of a way to pay for them if I wanted any.

I tend to wonder if there's an issue with over education and the expense incurred there as well. I went into a good deal of debt to get my Master's degree. I got a job that required a Master's, but paid very little more than my previous job. I really feel like I could do this job adequately with 2 years of college education and about 6 weeks training. I'm assuming this will benefit me in the long run, but I've heard that not all countries work this way.

Yeah, I totally agree on education and I can see her including that in the necessities of everyday life.
