Method, mainly. Many of those used in my whorl seem to be known in yours-- casting lots, though not by Thelxiepeia of course; proper augury, by birds; hepatomancy.

I understand many people seek their fortunes in the stars, which is a fascinating concept; we don't have them, so I find it difficult to comprehend their influence.
