Inuyasha couldn't stand a lot of things, but one of the top things had to be girls with bubbly, naive personalities. They always acted like the world was filled with rainbows and happiness, and nothing would convince them of otherwise.

In Inuyasha's mind, Hikaru was the perfect example of one of these girls.

As she continued to go on and on with her overly optimistic comments, his eye began to twitch. One of these days, she would have to find out the hard way how the world actually was, and he didn't want to think of what would happen when it did.

One of her friends had just died. He had almost convinced himself to just leave her alone; after all, it wasn't like he had anything to do with it. And yet here he was, talking with her, listening to her sorrows and how she blamed herself.

He scowled. Even though he really did have nothing to do with it, these girls still had their ways of making him feel guilty about almost everything that went wrong.

What she had been expecting was that Rufus would be too busy with boyfriend/fuckbuddy/husband/whatever for him to notice that she was breaking his safe.

What she hadn't been expecting was the faceful of knockout gas that had come out as soon as she opened it.

She had done it! It had taken her quite a bit of energy, but she had finally obtained some of Rufus Shinra's materia!

Imagine her surprise when Rufus posted later that night on the community.

"-Oh yes, and with regards to Kisaragi, I hope you enjoy those smooth painted rocks you took from me. I suppose I know who to go to the next time my trash needs to be taken out."

Yuffie just sat on the ground, pouting. Rufus raised an eyebrow at her silence.

"Very well. Then you won't mind me just leaving you here so you can be alone with your thoughts."

"What? No--HEY!!" Even with her cursing loudly at him, Rufus couldn't help but smirk as he locked the door to the vault behind him.

Five times Rider snarked with Issei and one time she got along with him.
