Firstly, your humor is AWESOME, not lame at all.
"I can see it, then...if Pillars suddenly sprouted hand-painted scowls and started shooting at anything that moved." Fantastic! Your Fuji is wonderful.
"There're always choices. Like your choice to wear that hideous lavender shirt every single time we get free time and I manage to get you to take me on a date," That made me laugh so much. It's so in-character for both of them.
"So your idea of retirement is to scare people shitless," Tezuka asked, amused as they walked, realising belatedly that Fuji had guided him toward another love hotel.
"Isn't that everyone's?" Fuji replied blithely, a bounce in his step. I'm cracking up again reading that part. XD ( ... )

As for Echizen. I've always found him tricky to write. I wanted to mirror the whole Power triangle dynamic found in the series. With the pillaring between Tezuka and Ryoma and the competitiveness between Fuji and Ryoma. So, I'm glad it worked for you.
*dances* Thanks for liking it. This review made my day.

Though I must admit my favorite part is the reference to that god-awful lavender shirt :)
