I don't know about the Cary thing. It felt weird. She tells him she's not into him and 20 seconds later, she lets him kiss her? Plus it feel like there's some kind of double standards: she tells Lana she doesn't want intimacy but she kisses a guy... with all that talk of being "normal"? It doesn't sit right somehow.
Intimacy doesn't have to be sexual attraction Totally. I just wished they had picked up the A/K relationship again from the hole it's been dropped in this season instead of going for a new one with Cary. And I'm not a shipper, I just like their friendship and I feel there's more to explore there.
I like the scene and I love the way Archie and Matt played it but I guess it's the concept of "normality" I have a problem with. Always have. I can understand Kalinda wanting to let people in for a change though.
