There's nothing I love more, seriously, than being immersed in a world that I don't know at all while feeling confident that the author does. It's such a joy. I've never even seen rugby played, but I felt somehow that I got it, through the way you described both its physicality and Arthur's intense pleasure in the game. The romance was lovely, so well paced. Thank you! :D

oh my gosh, thank you so much. that actually means quite a lot to me because i went into this knowing NOTHING of rugby. gelbwax gave me a crash course in the basics and then after that it was just youtube videos. i'm so happy you liked it :))) ♥

This is so lovely! I don't even have the words, but I'll try. I love how you managed to keep Arthur and Eames IC even in high school. They're a little more hesitant and a little less sure, but they're still them. And there was rugby, and Ariadne, and Robert, and your OCs were delightful, and all of it! I'll probably reread this, so maybe I'll be able to edit my comment then to make it make sense.

Their first game is in two weeks and Arthur finds himself looking forward to getting the clean, pressed uniform dirty. I can't really explain why, but I really, really love this. Also, "Regression suits you, Arthur." I may have a thing for drunk!Arthur :D
