I have eyes, don't I?

Once upon a time I could write things down. I could make full sentences. I could think and write in almost actual paragraphs and I think Facebook has eaten that ability. Insert frustrated emoticon here ( Read more... )

I've heard things about it. It could all be lies. You can never be sure about these things.

See above comment but also I need a safe space to talk about the boys. The anti-vaxx/let's cure autism people on fb scare me. A lot. Sometimes I just need to have kids with some disabilities and chat about that in a way that doesn't need to be "solved".

It's exactly why I'm still here. It's easier for to talk about the mental health and other serious stuff here, where most people won't see it, and then go to FB to keep up with everyone. Some stuff just isn't for public consumption.

And I agree, anti-vaxxers are absolutely obnoxious.

i used to read constantly then THE CHILD HAPPENED. working and having kids means next to no time to yourself. for me, when i have a minute, i seem to just want to stare at the tv and turn off my brain. i spent the night at my cousin's house friday night and was able to wake up when i was ready to, didn't have to talk if i didn't want to, and didn't have to make anyone breakfast. it was amazing. (first time away from tilda.)

i am slowly getting back into reading. while tilda napped today, instead of tv, i actually napped and got a few pages of my book in. i've found reading even just a few pages has whet my appetite for books again.

i also just sent evan and tilda on a walk. my plans include vacuuming and watching more transparent. only 2 to go! i'm not the spokesperson for reading today but whatever.

Netflix is the best and the devil. I'm like YES I HAVE ONE HOUR TO DO NOTHING LET ME SPEND IT WITH YooOOOoOOOOuuuUUUU.

Then I'm like remember when the stories had words and I stared at the nice little words? It inspired me to write the words and be witty. I miss being witty. I miss writing. I miss being inspired.

I miss being more than a puddle of fleece that lives on the couch. :|

Also I meant to update again between here and there and now babies are ruining that.

Good to see you again. Sounds like you've got your hands full! That is a lot to cope with. I hope you can get them into the speech therapy, and that you can get some attention for yourself too.

I do but in separate but equal ways it sounds the same for you too. I've made sure to stalk your LJ at random points to see how you guys have been hanging in there.

Yesterday ended up being a trip to the pediatrician and waiting for meds and having to get a different aerochamber and checking on my meds and after all that I was like I just want to come home and cook dinner and eat. So I did. Today I really have to call the Language Clinic. The cool thing about it is they have OT and speech therapy. I just have to get them to move off their asses and make appointments. I could scream.

YOU HAVE ON JOB FRONT DESK. Make my appointment. MAKE MY APPOINTMENT BEFORE I BURN EVERYTHING DOWN. Pls. Thank you.
