Okay, I was going to write about something else but I totally just got distracted by what seems to be a liquid Mucinex ad. When I inevitably get my yearly cold I will probably hug the shit out of that stuff. For real, I would have drank it by the bucket full when I was pregnant. Let's think about this for a minute. i'm really bad with food too. i eat what i like and rarely consider if it's good for me. i got a smidge better when i was pregnant and am trying now since i'm still breastfeeding but i don't like to deny myself food i enjoy.
trail mix for dinner? yes please!
a whole thing of pringles in one sitting? done it.
i don't do that often but more than i should.
the kid's presence makes me want to be a better person and i intend to try.

Being an adult is hard.

I've started "banking" now for future health problems. Women in my family have bone density issues, so I try to drink a lot of milk. Sometimes it's in a milkshake, or sometimes it's with a few Oreos. But I'm doing it.

If you're hungry, eat. If you're not don't. If you're not getting enough calories, your body will let you know. Wednesday, I had a bowl of cereal, a granola bar, and dinner. That was all I needed that day, I guess. On days when I'm teaching, I tend to eat a full lunch, because I'm spending energy. But on the weekends? I barely eat. I'm not trying to starve myself; I'm just not hungry.
