Glad to know I wasn't the only one. What the hell are they doing with our show?

I know, right? I know we're not going to get brilliant writing, but when the characters are unrecognizable, it really painful to see. They're the only reason why I tune in.

I ignored anything that wasn't their faces, because nothing else made any sense at all. So much stupid shooting!

That's pretty much the only way to watch. Their faces were the only good thing about this ep. And Danny's shirt at the end there. He looks good in deep red.

Aw, thank you, sweets. I was just so excited, since it was billed as a Steve & Danny ep but it ended up being such a letdown. I don't know what the heck they are doing with the show this season but I haven't been enjoying it at all.

I too didn't quite get the whole Steve-turnaround thing. Especially with the threat of Danny being shot with Grace hearing it over the phone. I did think they did slaughter a whole lot of bad guys between the two scenes too. I also had a problem with Cath's hug of Steve - NOT because they are a couple but because it was completely OOC for her. She was a Navy officer, she's a professional, she just wouldn't run up in the middle of a crime scene and hug her boyfriend like that. She would have made eye-contact with him and hugged him later - at most, touched his shoulder in front of the others.

The scene at the end was wonderful though. I was really happy to have some Steve & Danny scenes. They really are the meat of the show.

This guy had a gun pressed to Danny's side, you'd think Steve would sort of hold that against him. Plus the bit with Grace hearing it--I so don't get Steve's reaction, or rather, lack of reaction, to all that.

I found the hug kind of cringeworthy, too, and not very professional. I really hate the way they're writing Cath this season. But I guess I kind of hate the way they're writing everyone.
