We were told that milk can be frozen if it's not going to be used *snapsnap* quick. So we've frozen some. I noticed that once it got to 'that's gonna break your foot if you drop it!' levels of frozen that it turned this sickly yellow color. Rather icky, to tell the truth. Don't do it man! It's insanity! We've waited nearly three days for one gallon of milk to thaw in the fridge and it's still hard as a rock. And there is really no way other than the fridge to safely thaw milk.

Oh, and the yogurt I froze has a funny texture even after thawing. Not very nice. *ick*

Not to weird you out or anything, but breast milk does the same color change thing. All the stuff I pump and freeze for Sarah looks an icky yellow color once it's frozen, but then turns back to white when it's thawed. Strange.

I'd wondered about that! I suppose it must be the fat content separating from the rest. Crazy!
