The Local ByElection thingy had four names on.
The MEP thingy was getting on for the size of a paperback book. Everyone and his dog (and the dog's friends) is putting up a candidate. -
Eggs

UK Chopper Pilot Will Fly To Moon: It's Official!
The Grauniad has got all hot and bothered about the naming of an Army Helicopter pilot as one of six new ESA astronauts and reckons:
"The astronauts could be among the first to walk on the moon since the end of the Apollo missions in 1972"
Given that ESA has currently neither the vehicles nor the vast sums required for a lunar mission, this seems ( Read more... ) -

Stereotypes are a terrible thing.
When I saw the picture of Carol Anne Duffy I instantly thought: "She looks like a lesbian, but probably isn't". Only to discover that she is!
Well it made me laugh.
I wonder what she will do with the 600 bottles of Sherry.
