My night in the emergency room

PLEASE READ THISFriday night, sometime between 9:10 and 9:30 p.m., as I was walking home from work, I tripped (due to the fact it was dark out, the sidewalk was raised and uneven, and because I'm a klutz) and I fell. This wouldn't be a big deal if that was all. I would just have been scratched up and would have ruined yet another pair of jeans.

- To save money on taking out the stiches (because I think they DO charge for that if you go in) you can wait 10 - 14 days just to be sure - then snip them yourself with tweezers and surgical snippy things... or just sharp coupon snippy thingies... of course seeing that this is an injury to your "dominant" hand - you may need a little help

I wish I lived up there -- I'd swipe a suture removal kit from work and do it for you. Damn, can't you sue the city for having shitty uneven sidewalks? Kidding...sort of.

er's suck. I personally have never been a patient in a hospital but my father has spent at least 2 years (if you add all the visits together) in the hospital for various thing... ahhh memories of driving to the hospital at 2 am with him barely breathing.... (we cna't take him to the local hospital because of special conditions that other hospitals about 30-45 minuits away are better at handling)
I probably wouldn't have even bothered witha hospital... ;\ i'm shitty about myself like that...
