Two by two
For the second time this week, I am making jalapeno poppers. I feel forced into doing this as all the ones I can find in stores have no kick to them. Mine, however, they gots the zing. Fortunately for me, these aren't hard to make. Yum.

Pacific Beach
I'm headed to the beach tomorrow. Me. At a beach, in July. That's a pretty unlikely scenario, but it will happen. I'm not even dreading it.
I am meeting my parents, my mom's sister, my sister and her family there. We're staying at some Naval resort and conference center for a few days. It will be nice to see everyone, and I think it will be ( Read more... ) -

I'm about to leave on a rare weeknight Seattle-and-back drive. But it should be worth it, as I'll get to hang with Lori and, I hope, Jesus and Mary Chain. the next few days
The morning after a bottle of wine followed with bourbon, I went on a hike with my dad and uncle. We woke a bear sleeping not far from the trail. The three of us kept going down the path a little, discussing how black bears don't attack humans very often. So my uncle and I decided we should go back with my camera phone and take pictures.
