We're doctors, not policemen. But we should have the authority to keep our patients safe. But there should be a better way to go around it.

In that particular situation, I think it was just an effect of panic and stress. We were rushing around, trying to get things done, but we didn't watch as carefully as we should have.

And how could we with everything that was happening?

I agree. In the past when we've had circumstances where an inmate has been out of line, we have suspended them. I know that we suspended Hayley pending an investigation when she had taken some drugs, but then we brought her back in afterwards based on the recommendation of Leo and her warden.

We were rushing about, and I honestly wish I could go back and do things differently, explain things a bit more and shut down a situation that I should have been paying closer attention to.

Now, the question is how do we not let that happen again?
