I know that I never ever post here, but I have come to ask a favor of everyone. I am trying to compile a list of books to read while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, and I would love it if everyone who has thoughts about books would post a few of their all time favorites. Thanks!

So here I am: back in Santa Cruz for a day, then off to big sur to do a little bit of backpacking. I have a final tomorrow, which is why I'm back here. Today I went to classes until 5, worked until 2. Now it is 2:15 and I cannot fall asleep, because I have not yet done anything real. I am still waiting for something to happen, but nothing will, excepting sleep. This and every day. It ends soon.

I just got a C+ on a tech writing paper. It doesn't matter, as I am taking this pass-fail (and C+ passes), and I can rewrite it as many times as I want. Still, somehow, I can't help but take it personally. I spent very little time on it, but still! I don't get grades like that! Bah!
