Using the Sorting Hat on other fandoms

I've been indulging myself with some of my favorite HP fanfic (Transfigurations by resonant, in particular), and for some reason I got the urge to Sort other fandom characters into Houses. Beware - very weird hybrid canons involved, and I ignore Season 5 of SGA.

I haven't decided on what Rossi would be. He hasn't...defined himself well enough, for lack of another explanation.

Prentiss I want to say is Hufflepuff with some Slytherin tendencies, but she doesn't really strike me as OMG! She's a [something]! either.

Garcia is a Ravenclaw, of course.

I think I'd go Slytherin for Rossi, and possibly Prentiss as well. Either that or Ravenclaw.

Emily is totally Ravenclaw. With possibly a bit of Gryffindor.

That was more due to an "I can't think of a Sorting blurb for them" than actual, you know, planning, but it works.

Some people just ARE.

I liked how Daniel started out Hufflepuff and then ended up Gryffindor "with all the other stupidly brave people." spot on.
and oh yes. I can easily imagine Rodney badgering and annoying the Hat till he gets put where he wants.
